In September 2021, Varflex Corporation donated $50,000.00 to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on Griffiss Air Base, in honor of the late Bill Griffin. Phase II unveiled the UH-1 Huey helicopter, a chopper known to have played a large role in Vietnam War.
