In 2018, the Dorothy G. Griffin Charitable Foundation donated $1,000,000 to support the new radiation oncology facility at the Madison County Campus. Ms. Dorothy Griffin along with her brother Bill, established the Charitable Foundation in 1995. Dorothy believed all communities should have access to the best possible health care at their community hospitals. "The brand-new Dorothy G. Griffin Radiation Oncology Center is a 6,000 sq. ft medical center featuring modern exam rooms, a CT scanner and a TrueBeam linear accelerator for radiation therapy as well as support facilities for Roswell Park physicians and team members. The collaboration was made possible by $6.75 million grant from the New York State Department of Health plus $2.3 million from private donors – over $9 million in cancer investments."
